Legal
Terms & conditions
These terms govern every purchase from Samzin Clothing. They are written to meet the disclosure requirements of the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act 25 of 2002 (ECTA) section 43(1), and to sit alongside the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (CPA).

01 — Who we are
- Trading name: Samzin Clothing
- Registered name & legal status: [TO COMPLETE — e.g. Samzin Clothing (Pty) Ltd, or sole proprietor full name]
- Registration number: [TO COMPLETE — company / CK number]
- VAT number: [TO COMPLETE — VAT number, or state “not registered for VAT”]
- Physical address: [TO COMPLETE — street address], Witbank (eMalahleni), Mpumalanga, 1039, South Africa
- Telephone: +27 69 738 8915
- Email: samzindun@gmail.com
ECTA s43(1)(b) requires a real street address and a working telephone number — a post box is not enough.
02 — Industry bodies
We are not currently a member of a self-regulatory or accreditation body and do not subscribe to an external code of conduct. If that changes, this section will name the body and how to reach it, as ECTA s43(1)(c)–(d) requires.
03 — What we sell
Streetwear apparel: tracksuits, anoraks, crop sets, hoodies, tees and caps. Each product page states materials, fit, colours and sizes, and garment measurements are on the size guide. Photographs are representative — slight colour variation between screens and the physical garment is normal and is not a defect.
04 — Prices and taxes
All prices are in South African Rand (ZAR). The price on a product page is for the garment only; delivery is charged separately and calculated at checkout.
VAT: [TO COMPLETE — if registered — “prices include VAT at 15%, VAT no. …”; if not — “Samzin Clothing is not registered for VAT; prices contain no VAT and we cannot issue tax invoices”]
VAT registration became compulsory above R2.3 million turnover in any 12 months from 1 April 2026 (voluntary from R120 000). The total payable — garment, delivery and any tax — is always shown before you pay.
05 — How you can pay
Payment runs through Shopify's secure checkout. Available methods are shown at checkout. We never see or store your full card number.
06 — Checking your order before you pay
ECTA s43(2) gives you the right to review and correct your order before you are bound. The cart lets you change colour, size and quantity, remove items, or abandon the order at any point before the final payment step.
07 — Your record of the transaction
You receive an emailed order confirmation with items, prices, delivery address and order number. Keep it — it is your record of the transaction under ECTA s43(1)(l). We can re-send it on request.
08 — Cooling-off period
ECTA s44 lets you cancel an online order within 7 days of delivery, without a reason and without penalty. Goods must come back unworn and in original condition, and you carry the return cost. We refund within 30 days. This does not apply to items made to your specification or personalised for you. Full detail on the returns page.
09 — If we fail to disclose
ECTA s43(3) entitles you to cancel within 14 days of delivery if we have not made the s43(1) information available, or have not given you the chance to review and correct your order.
10 — Security
Checkout is processed by Shopify over an encrypted connection. ECTA s43(5) requires a payment system that is sufficiently secure by accepted technological standards, and s43(6) makes us liable for damage caused by a failure of that system.
11 — Stock and pricing errors
Listings are subject to availability. If an item is unavailable after payment we contact you and refund in full. Where a price is displayed in obvious error we may cancel and refund rather than supply at that price — we will always tell you first.
12 — Governing law and complaints
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa. Nothing here limits a right under the CPA or ECTA that cannot lawfully be excluded. Unresolved complaints may be referred to the National Consumer Commission.
